Mitchell Kent
Mitchell Kent is the Elementary Principal.
This will be Mitch's 11th school year with the district. He taught 1st and 5th grade for 6 years prior to stepping into the Elementary School Success Coordinator position for 2 years before continuing his journey as the Elementary Principal. Mitch looks forward to working with students, staff members, parents, administrators, and community service providers to promote student achievement in our school.

Katie Kimpling
Katie Kimpling is the Elementary Administrative Assistant.
Katie is the Elementary Administrative Assistant and has been with the district for 9 years. Prior to stepping into this role, she was an Elementary Special Education Paraprofessional. Miss Katie is the first person most students see in the morning while walking into school. She loves seeing the students and feeling like she has a connection with each one. Heather Shamla
Heather Shamla is the MARSS Data & Marketing Coordinator
Heather has been in this position for 6 years. She has been with the district for a total of 7 years so far. Heather enjoys the numerous opportunities she gets to assist the students and staff here at MACCRAY while also working on the marketing and data for the district. Josh Austad
Josh Austad is the District Superintendent.
Josh is the new Superintendent here at MACCRAY School District 2180. With 30 years of experience in education, he has had the privilege of serving as a coach, classroom teacher, instructional coach, and administrator.
Him and his wife, Kate, are blessed with three boys whom are all adults and involved in real life adventures outside the home.
As the new superintendent of MACCRAY schools, Josh believes that building strong, trusting relationships is key to creating a thriving educational community.
