NOTICE OF PROPERTY SALE

MACCRAY Schools, Independent School District No. 2180 intends to sell the following real property:

MACCRAY Football Field

700 Agnes Avenue

Maynard, MN 56260

Selling price of $40,000.

If you are interested in submitting an offer to purchase the above properties, please submit the following information:

• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address and the purchaser’s name, address, telephone number, and email address if different from yours
• The amount that you are offering
• Any contingencies that you will be requiring in order to purchase the property (i.e. subdivision/land use approvals, financing, inspection, etc.)
• The date in which you would propose to close on the purchase of the property
• The amount of earnest money you intend to deposit
• The proposed use of the property

Please be advised of the following:

• The conveyance of the properties by the District will be by quit claim deed
• The property will be conveyed on an AS IS basis and the District will not make any warranties or representations about the condition of the property.
• The purchaser will be responsible for paying all closing fees or costs, including, but not limited to, a survey, if desired by the purchaser, any tests or inspections desired by the purchaser, title commitment fees, title search and examination fees, any title insurance premiums or the cost of any endorsements, closing fees charged by the closing company, any brokers’ fees or commissions, purchaser’s attorneys’ fees, the state deed tax, the cost of recording the deed, and any escrow fees.  The District will be responsible for the cost of making title to the property marketable and the District’s attorneys’ fees.

Please submit your offer and the above information to MACCRAY Business Manager Kim Sandry no later than July 20, 2026 in order for your offer to be considered by the District.  All submissions are subject to the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, Minnesota Statutes Chapter 13.

The District will notify you if it would like to accept your offer.  The District will select offers that are in the best interests of the District and that will support the best use of the properties in the District’s sole discretion.   In the event your offer is accepted, you will be required to enter into a purchase agreement for the property that will need to be approved by the District’s Board.  The District reserves the right to reject any and all offers.  The District is not responsible for expenses or costs incurred by purchasers in connection with this process.

Beginning at a point Sixty feet easterly from the Southeast corner of Block five, original plat of Maynard, and at the Southwest corner of the present school plot, thence Southerly along the east line of Ruth street Three hundred sixty feet, thence easterly at right angles Six hundred sixty feet, thence Northerly at right angles Three hundred sixty feet to the Southeast corner of present school plot, thence Westerly along the southern boundary of said school plot a distance of Six hundred sixty feet to point of beginning.
